Forest Park (Yuanjiajie, Golden Whip Stream) + Tianmen Mountain, cableway & transfers included, max 6 guests.
Forest Park 2 days + Tianmen Mountain + Grand Canyon Glass Bridge option, dinners & hotels included.
Zhangjiajie highlights + 1 night in Fenghuang Ancient Town. Off-season CNY 1,880.
This is how the 3-Day Classic usually flows. Private tours adjust freely around it.
We meet you at the airport or station and drive to Wulingyuan. In the afternoon, an easy walk along Golden Whip Stream — flat riverside boardwalks under the sandstone towers, gentle for kids and seniors. Evening: a local Tujia hotpot dinner (Sanxiaguo), our treat.
Up by Bailong Elevator (optional, CNY 65) to Yuanjiajie for the Avatar floating mountains and the First Bridge Under Heaven, then Tianzi Mountain for wide ridgeline views (cableway down optional, CNY 72). We time the route to miss the big-group rush wherever possible.
The long cableway up, the glass skywalk, the 999 steps to Heaven's Gate if your legs feel like it. Note: the upper cableway section is under upgrade in 2026 — routes follow on-site scheduling and the highlights stay reachable. We then drive you to the airport or station.
Our itineraries contain zero shopping points, written into your plan before you pay.
Start late, skip a peak, stay longer — your call. We build the day around your family.
They know when the light is right on Tianzi Mountain, and where the quiet trails lead.
Tickets, vehicle, guide, hotels, dinners — quoted line by line, no surprises.
Zhangjiajie works year-round — but each season feels different. Here's the straight version.
Fresh green valleys, full streams, comfortable temperatures. May holiday week gets busy; the rest of spring is lovely.
School-holiday peak: queues are long and hotels cost more. Scenery is at its fullest green, but go in prepared for crowds.
Clear skies and crisp air — our personal favorite window. Skip Oct 1–7 (national holiday), then enjoy the calmest good weather of the year.
Snow on the sandstone towers is something special and prices are lower — but trails can be icy, so we keep plans flexible.
Standard 2026 admission prices. All tickets use real-name reservation.
However you arrive, we meet you at the gate — transfers are included in every tour.
Fly into Zhangjiajie Hehua Airport (DYG) via Changsha, Guangzhou, Shanghai or Hong Kong. The drive from the airport to Wulingyuan is under an hour, straight into the mountain scenery.
Zhangjiajie West Station connects directly to Changsha (about 2 hours) and other major hubs. Comfortable, scenic, and often the most relaxing way in.
Fenghuang Ancient Town is about 3.5 hours by road from Zhangjiajie — an easy add-on for a 4-5 day trip, with a night in a riverside stilt-house inn.
Send your travel window, group size and interests — no payment needed yet.
We send a written plan with every cost shown clearly, for your family only.
Transfers, tickets, guide and hotels are arranged. You just enjoy the mountains.
No — our itineraries contain zero shopping points, written into your plan in writing before you book.
Yes, transfers are included in every private tour, from Zhangjiajie Hehua Airport or the train station.
Most trails stay open; we reshuffle the order around weather so you still see the highlights comfortably.
For peak seasons we suggest booking 7-15 days ahead, to secure real-name ticket reservations.
Yes — English-speaking licensed guides are available for private tours and dedicated English small-group departures. Chinese-speaking guests from Singapore and Malaysia are also welcome to join regular departures.
Yes, with the right pacing. Golden Whip Stream and Ten-Mile Gallery are flat and gentle; cableways and elevators cover the climbs. We plan rest stops and half-day pacing for families.
Tell us your dietary needs when booking — we confirm restaurants in advance. Vegetarian is easy to arrange; halal options exist in the city and we plan around them.
Mountain weather changes fast. Cableways run in most rain; heavy fog mainly affects visibility, not access. We reshuffle the day order around the forecast — that flexibility is exactly why a private tour works.
Tell us your dates and group. We reply with a written itinerary and a clear, line-by-line quote — for your family only.
